TC4200-WiMAX Core is a high speed Low Density Parity Check code (LDPC) decoder optimized for WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e) specifications. A patented decoding architecture allows meeting high throughputs within small devices, and still offering close-to-ideal Bit Error Rate (BER) performances. Two core versions are available (*):

• a 75 Mbps decoded bitrate
• a 150-200 Mbps decoded bitrate

Functional coverage:

Covers all LDPC options specified in IEEE802.16e-2005 (mobile):

• block sizes: 576 to 2304 coded bits
• code rates 1/2, 2/,3 3/4, 5/6

• Near floating point bit error rate (BER) performance
